Cognitive Dissonance
Cognitive dissonance is used to describe the mental discomfort that results from holding two conflicting beliefs, values, or attitudes. In short, you know it’s wrong but you do it anyway.
Fairytale Syndrome
The belief that it’s possible to have the perfect relationship with a partner. A relationship that’s equal to the hopelessly romantic ones seen in movies.

B – broken hearts; also known as Romance Scammers
Victim Blaming/Shaming
a devaluing act that occurs when the victim(s) of a crime or an accident is held responsible — in whole or in part — for the crimes that have been committed against them.
